{"id":2825,"date":"2019-11-14T07:38:05","date_gmt":"2019-11-14T06:38:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/leyaouanc.fr\/wordpress\/?p=2825"},"modified":"2019-11-14T07:39:07","modified_gmt":"2019-11-14T06:39:07","slug":"melchior-thimister-passed-away","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leyaouanc.fr\/wordpress\/index.php\/2019\/11\/14\/melchior-thimister-passed-away\/","title":{"rendered":"MELCHIOR THIMISTER PASSED AWAY"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A crazy project, one that Peter Lindbergh was able to realise last year with the help of the French luxury label.\u00a0Dior\u2019s most iconic creations photographed in black and white in the streets of present-day New York: the images are as beautiful as they are surreal, breathing life into superb models from the past that we would ordinarily only see immortalised in museums.<span id=\"more-39758\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The latest publication dedicated to the work of the renowned German photographer, who died on September 3 2019 aged 74, is made up of two volumes: the first, entitled \u2018New York\u2019, focuses on the New York project; the second, \u2018Archives\u2019, collects over 100 pictures taken by Lindbergh, three decades during which Lindbergh became \u201cone of the label\u2019s Dior.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The photographer\u2019s artistic touch and talent did the rest. During the photoshoot in the streets around Times Square, in October 2018, Lindbergh encouraged the models to blend in with the crowd and with New York\u2019s vibrant atmosphere. \u201cWake up!
